Quick Reload: Removes some intermediary steps in the reload animation, making it faster to Quick End Turn or just mass reload. Quick End Turn: Rapidly reloads and overwatches all soldiers. This will throw up a conflict with Gotcha Again, but there are instructions on fixing the conflict on the mod description. Perfect Information: Provides stats on all shots taken. Like Evac All, but for a more common occurrence. New Target Icons: Tells you which enemies on the target select are what before clicking individually. Not essential, but I've found it useful from time to time.
Works wonders with Gotcha Again to analyze the battlefield.
LOS Preview Ability: Adds a key to show what squares you can see from a certain tile.
It tells you what tiles you can see enemies from, it tells you where overwatch shots will be taken, it tells you where flanks are.
Gotcha Again: The "Again" part is important, by the way. Free Camera Rotation: Let's you see from any angle, instead of the preset rotations. Get them all out at once instead of one-by-one. Evac All: Saves time when evacing units. You don't want to accidentally sell some rare materiel. Blackmarket Usage: This tells you what you can use the materials for while in the Black Market UI. This lets you not have to remember every opportunity to reload. Auto-Reload: If a soldier is ordered to do a turn-ending action and they have the ability to make a non-free reload, they will reload before doing the action.
I'm noting the mods that are super important and come up in most everyone's lists of the essential mods to install. These will make your game run faster and/or better. In addition, I'm including the QoL mods I use. It highlights any mod conflicts and explains the reason.
Its faster for loading the game, plus its plain better. I'd recommend using the alternate mod launcher.
